Nicolás Prados, Ph.D.

Biografía

Nicolás Prados has a B.A. and Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Sevilla (Spain) and a Master degree in Statistics in Biomedicine from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (Spain). He is currently Coordinator of the IVF Laboratories of IVI-RMA Group and the Manager of the IVF Laboratory at IVI-RMA Sevilla.

He is also collegiate associate professor of the Molecular Biology and Biochemical Engineering Department at Pablo de Olavide University in Seville where he is responsible of the subjects ‘Molecular and Genetic Diagnosis’ and ‘Reproductive Technology and Gene Therapy’ of the degree in Biotechnology. His work is focussed in clinical embryology, quality management and system controls. IVI-RMA Sevilla is specialized in bench-testing new systems and media in IVI-RMA group. At IVI-RMA Headquarters Spain central offices, he works as coordinator of IVF laboratories in the Medical Management Area and as a consultant for procedures and consumable standardization. He conducts internal IVF lab clinics inspections and audits in IVI-RMA group and he is a member of IVICO, the consulting subsidiary company for education, practice and auditing services for external clinics. He has written several book chapters about IVF control and design.

He currently resides at Seville, Spain
