Dr. Melado is Specialist in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology/IVF for Health Authority Abu Dhabi (DOH) and Dubai Health Authority (DHA). She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University Autónoma in Madrid in 2002, and her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Hospital Universitario La Paz, Madrid, with a rating of Excellent. She obtained her doctorate degree “cum laude” in 2015 in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department of the University Autónoma of Madrid School of Medicine.
As a doctor, she has worked as Ob/Gyn and IVF and Fertility Consultant in Hospital Universitario La Paz in Madrid, Hospital Universitario Quirón Madrid and Clínica Ginefiv. In the Middle East, she worked as Specialist in Al Ain Fertility Center and joined IVI Middle East in 2016, working in Abu Dhabi and Dubai Clinics. She is a member of European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), Spanish Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Spanish Fertility Society (SEF), and Spanish Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology (SEGO). Her main research is focused in ovarian reserve assessment using anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH), and implications for ovarian stimulation and in predicting oocyte quality and IVF outcome.
