Biografía

Dr. Cejudo-Román is a clinical embryologist, and a Research Coordinator at IVI Málaga since 2013. Dr. Cejudo-Román received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2007, and obtained his Master’s degree in Biotechnology of Assisted Human Reproduction in 2009, both at the University of Valencia. He received his Ph.D. in Biotechnology as “cum laude” in 2017, also at the University of Valencia.

His Ph.D. thesis entitled “Characterization of the expression and function of the tachykinins in human sperm” was performed at the Institute of Chemical Research of the Spanish National Research Council in collaboration with the Andrology Laboratory at IVI RMA Madrid and the Physiology Department at the School of Medicine of the University of the Basque Country. Dr. Cejudo-Román has published original peer reviewed articles in leading reproductive journals and presented at national and international conferences.
As an educator, Dr. Cejudo-Román lectured and advised students in “Biotechnology of Assisted Human Reproduction” Master´s program at the University of Valencia and the “Biology and Applied Technology to Assisted Human Reproduction” Master’s program at the European University of Madrid.
Dr. Cejudo-Román is member of the Fertility Spanish Society (SEF), the Association for the Study of Biology Reproduction (ASEBIR) and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embriology (ESHRE)
