Biografía
Dr. Evelin Lara, MD, M.S, PhD student, is a physician at IVI Barcelona, were she serves as the Director of the Egg Donation Unit. She received her medical degree with high honors at the Institute of Medical Sciences, University of Havana, and completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Hermanos Ameijeiras Hospital in Havana, in Cuba.
As the Hermanos Ameijeiras Hospital, she worked as Internal Medicine Consultant in the Diabetes Service, preventing, evaluating and treating complications of Diabetes, and in Transplant Service preparing patients on the waiting list, providing follow-up after transplantation, and performing emergency procedures. In the meantime, she obtained a teaching degree from the Havana University and attended conferences and postgraduate courses on Endocrinology, Virology, and Hepatology.
