After his residency training he focused on Reproduction. He started the IVF Programme at Hospital Universitario Materno Infantil in Las Palmas, where he worked as the coordinator of the Human Reproduction Department before moving to IVI in 2004.
His main areas of interest are oocyte vitrification, ovarian stimulation in oncological patients and Fertility Preservation. He is a coordinator of IVI´s Fertility Preservation Program, and member of the Spanish Fertility Society Fertility Preservation Special Interest Group.
Dr. Domingo has been invited to speak nationally and internationally, and has authored and contributed to 30 peer reviewed publications, 40 book chapters and approximately 100 abstracts throughout his career. He serves as a reviewer for Fertility and Sterilty and Reproductive BioMedicine Online, and is a member of the Spanish Fertility Society (SEF), Obstetrics and Gynecology Spanish Society (SEGO), European Society of Human Reproduction and Embriology (ESHRE) and International Society for Fertility Preservation (ISFP).
