Adrija Kumar Datta, MD, FRCOG

Lead Consultant


Adrija Kumar Datta MD, FRCOG, is the Lead Consultant in CREATE, Birmingham, UK. Dr Datta passed MBBS from the University of Calcutta in 1988 and obtained Masters (MD) from the same university in 1996. He became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MRCOG) in the year 2005 and Fellow (FRCOG) in 2019. He was an Ex-Assistant Professor in a Manipal College of Medical Science in Nepal 200-2002 and has recently been appointed as Honorary Senior Lecturer in Bolton University, United Kingdom. He is a trainer for British Fertility Society.

Dr Datta joined the Board of the International Society for Mild Approaches in Assisted Reproduction (ISMAAR) as Research Coordinator. He is in the Editorial Board of the journal Fertility and Sterility Reviews, USA and is one of the Editors of a book which will be published soon under the banner of ISMAAR. He is a regular reviewer of many journals including Human Reproduction, Reproductive BioMedicine Online, British Medical Journal and Human Fertility.

Dr Datta published many scientific papers in peer-review journals including in Hi-indexed journals. He wrote several chapters in books. He presented (oral and poster) in international conferences including ESHRE, ASRM, BFS (Fertility), RCOG congress. His area of special interest is ovarian stimulation, although he had original research in other fields of Reproductive Medicine.
