Since July 2006, she has been part of the Human Reproduction Unit of IVI Valencia where she coordinates Egg donation Unit too. She is Board member of the Ethical Committee of the Instituto Valenciano de Infertilidad. He is now a member of the Group of Work about “Genetics in Gamete Donations” of the Spanish Fertility Society (SEF).
Dr. Pilar Alamá obtained a Master’s degree in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgery in 2007-2008, and a Master’s Degree in Medical Genetics in 2015 both in University of Valencia.
Dr. Pilar Alamá has participated in clinical research projects and has contributed to over 20 publications on assisted reproduction in peer-reviewed international journals and written more than 20 book chapters. She is Member of the Research Committee of the Instituto Valenciano de Infertilidad
She has been involved in teaching postgraduate courses since 2008; Master’s Degree in Biotechnology of Assisted Human Reproduction and Master’s Degree in Infertility: psychosocial, medical and legal aspect, both in ADEIT (University of Valencia).
Dr. Pilar Alamá has been director or co-director of 3 doctoral theses, is Member of the Research Committee of the Instituto Valenciano de Infertilidad and Board member of the Ethical Committee of the Instituto Valenciano de Infertilidad. He is now a member of the Group of Work about “Genetics in Gamete Donations” of the Spanish Fertility Society (SEF). She also serves as Global Associates for Fertility & Sterility review.
