Cristina Lagalla, B.Sc.

Cristina Lagalla, senior clinical embryologist at 9.Baby, GeneraLife Bologna, obtained her B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Parma in 1997. She started working since Dicember 1997 at Sant’Orsola University hospital of Bologna, IVF unit, until 2001; after a brief experience at the Polyclinic of Modena, she started working at SISMER IVF clinic in Bologna until June 2002, when she joined the IVF team of Tecnobios Procreazione IVF clinic, today named 9.baby – GeneraLife Bologna, Italy. Her special interest areas are mainly human oocyte-embryo biopsy, blastocyst culture, embryo grading and selection, time-lapse imaging technology and cryobiology. Her main publications concern embryo compaction and especially partial embryo compaction.
