Biography

Dr. Roberta Maggiulli is a senior clinical embryologist and Lab operation Director of GENERA IVF laboratories in Italy. She obtained her BSc and MSc degrees from the University of Parma.

She obtained her BSc and MSc degrees from the University of Parma in “Biotechnology” and “Medical Biotechnology” and her PhD magna cum laude in “Clinical Biochemistry”. After a four-year internship as clinical embryologist at the University of Parma, she was employed as a Research Staff Associate at the Center for Reproductive Medicine and Infertility (CRMI) of the Weill Cornell Medical College in New York. Afterwards, she joined the Genera centers where she worked as Lab supervisor for 12 years, contributing to the validation and standardization of laboratory practices. She is author or coauthor of several articles in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters and several abstracts in national and international meetings.
