Carlotta Zacà

Biography

Dr Carlotta Zacà works as embryologist at IVIRMA Global Research Alliance, 9.baby Bologna, Italy since September 2013. She is Laboratory Director at IVIRMA Global Research Alliance, 9.baby Cattolica, Italy since May 2017.

She graduated in Biological Sciences (Magna cum Laude) at Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna in 2012. In 2014 she achieved a second level Master degree in Reproductive Medicine at the University of Padova and in 2015 at the same University she completed the advanced specialization in Reproductive Medicine. Since 2013 she is member of European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE),. Società Italiana Di Fertilità E Sterilità E Medicina Della Riproduzione (SIFES E MR) and Società Italiana Embriologia Riproduzione e Ricerca (SIERR). She is member of the scientific committee of the SIERR.

Current research interests focus on preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), cryopreservation, analysis of cumulative data and key performance indicators (KPIs)
