This is where it all started for IVI. Founded in 1990 and moved to its new modern building in 2002, our Valencia unit has been a center for clinical and scientific excellence for decades. Today, located in a 30,000 square foot building, and with more than 2,000 IVF cycles (with own eggs) and 1,500 donor cycles, 700 surgeries, 35,000 clinical encounters per year, IVI Valencia offers tremendous opportunities for clinical and translational research.
Over the past decades, IVI Valencia has been extremely productive in investigating novel treatment strategies and laboratory procedures in reproductive medicine, resulting in hundreds of scientific publications, numerous awards, and undeniable impact on clinical practices around the world. Today, the Clinical Research Team and investigators at IVI Valencia continue to conduct studies aimed at improving patient treatment strategies, and discovering biomarkers of embryonic health.
The Research Coordinator is Laura Caracena, who facilitates and coordinates a number of research activities, and will be the main contact person for research within the clinic.
